AFA’s Bob Coleman presents Addison Lemkay with a $500 Forest Industry Bursary on behalf of AFA’s board of directors, clients and staff on Thursday, June 26th.
Addison has been accepted in the Forestry Technician program at Fleming College in Lindsay, On. She has also been a co-op student with AFA since February.

The Algonquin Forestry Authority is pleased to announce that W. F. Dombroski & Sons Logging Contractor of Barry’s Bay, ON is the recipient of the AFA’s Contractor Safety Award for the 2013 – 2014 season.
This award is presented annually to the Algonquin Park logging contractor maintaining the best overall safety record. Dombroski’s employees worked in excess of 6,400 person days with no lost time days or medical aids for the entire season.
