AFA Tree Marking Supervisor finds most nests

Jim Turney, AFA’s Tree Marking Supervisor from the Huntsville office, took home a laser view finder – courtesy of Ontario Parks – at the Tree Marking Course held recently. Jim found the most hawks nests (24) during his travels throughout the Park in the past several years.  Other winners included AFA’s Anthony Hobbs and Peter Paroschy as well as tree marking contractors Darrin Lusk, Jeremy Bell, Gary McCadden, Robin Seafield and Levon Young.  Congratulations to all for their dedication and contributions to sustainable forest management in Algonquin Park!
